Text Box: Quest for Truth for Sunday School or Home Study   I was asked in the spring of 2006 to teach the QFTs to all of the church at Airport Freeway.  This was to be done in the auditorium. I decided to give everyone a QFT to study from just like in a home setting.  I had one person who had a microphone to read all verses so everyone could hear.  I thought it would help to use Power Point to help keep everyone at the same place. This was a great success.  I told some of my instructors and they wanted to see the Power Point program.  This had me spending a lot of time expanding  it even more.  I added the verses and questions about What to consider when studying the Bible.  I also added Robert Boykin reading all the verses.  When a verse comes up the instructor can read what verse is about to be read and then click one more time an hear Robert read it. When doing a review in the notes it tells you which slide to go to at the end of the review it tells you which slide is next.  It’s working well!

Text Box: God’s Word                God’s Word Translation, I was given a copy of this Bible by Phil Smith.  One of his hobbles is checking different Bible translations for errors.  When he gave me this Bible he said “You will really like the way this reads, it is easy, and it is the most accurate translation I have found.  After using it for awhile I called Bob Young who is Director of Graduate Bible College of Biblical Studies Oklahoma Christian University and he also said that it is very accurate and that he did not know why it was not used more.              I have really enjoyed this translation of the Bible and found it to be very accurate.  I have chosen to use it in the QFT Power Point presentation. Several of the adults could not defend the truth A refresher for some New approach to an old Gospel Serious lack of study Lack of concern for the lost This was an excellent tool to uncover the above. Text Box: THINK ABOUT THIS!   Ezekiel 3:16-21 16 After seven days the Lord spoke his word to me. He said, 17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman over the people of Israel. Listen to what I say, and warn them for me. 18 Suppose I tell you that wicked people will surely die, but you don’t warn them or speak out so that they can change their wicked ways in order to save their lives. Then these wicked people will die because of their sin, but I will hold you responsible for their deaths. 19 But suppose you warn the wicked people, and they don’t turn from their wicked ways. Then they will die because of their sin, but you will save yourself. 20 If righteous people turn from living the right way and do wrong, I will make them stumble, and they will die. If you don’t warn them, they will die because of their sin, and the right things they did will not be remembered. I will hold you responsible for their deaths. 21 But if you warn righteous people not to sin, and they don’t sin, they will certainly live because they listened to the warning. You will save yourself.”                  Are you your brother’s keeper?                  Are you responsible for warning the world of sin?                  Will you also be responsible for their deaths if you don’t warn them?                  We are all our brothers Keeper?                  Yes to all questions based on Ezekiel 3:16-21.                  We should not only warn the lost but also our brothers and sisters in Christ when we see them failing.                  We need a way to warn the lost and our brothers and sisters in Christ when needed and wash our hands of their blood.   I think CA has one of the  answers.
